- We used to go to five six Thanksgiving dinners every year. (Spread across 2 or 3 days. See comments for details.)
- I have a couple rather large dishes to make for tomorrow’s two Thanksgiving feasts.
- I have not bought any groceries for said dishes yet.
- It’s 5:48 p.m.
- I will not go to the grocery store tonight.
- My husband will
- Being married has some fantastic perks.
- Not having to brave Wal-mart on Thanksgiving Eve is one of them. (For me, not for Kevin.)
I love you, honey!

I love you too!!!
*MWAH!*
Testing…
See, my husband would be a wuss and want me to go with him…for some reason he needs a companion for errands, especially ones I have no interest in doing.
Then I am the Chris of this relationship
Five Thanksgiving dinners?! My word!
What are you making for tomorrow?
What a wonderful husband you have.
YES. FIVE.
Shoot. SIX.
Grandma Lilly, Grandma Maggie, Nanny (Margie), Granny (Wynema), Grandma Barbara, Grandma Wheeler (Omega).
Beats me how it was ever accomplished.
Made Ree’s Green Bean Casserole. It smells incredible.
And yes! He’s fantastic!
I just made Ree’s baked beans, sweet potatoes, and pumpkin butter!
YUM. I need to try that pumpkin butter.
Lucky you! We’ve gone from 3 down to 0 dinners in recent years.
Hope your hubby came out of the store alive tonight!
He made it home!
Things are much calmer now that we have fewer dinners to attend, but I do miss seeing all that family
And most of those grandparents are gone now.
LOL! Your poor husband. I am so glad I got my shopping done a few days ago. Let’s hope I have everything. I’m making a list.right.now. I’ll go at 6 in the morning if I have to.
I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving to you, too!
That’s a lot of eatin’! Also, your husband is a saint
Don’t I know it!
I am making nothing for Thanksgiving this year. Usually, I make potatoes, but I am dreading this years feat a little more than most. So instead I am taking a backseat and will not be making anything. All the things I know how to make (potatoes, sweet potatoes, dessert) were taken by others. Whoops?
And I have never done more than one Thanksgiving. That’s what happens when all of your family is spread across the US. Every now and then, my side will congregate together in Texas. Justin’s family is all here, but they all do separate Thanksgiving dinners.
