Sunday Morning Coffee

Still Tribute Blend around here and will be for a while. I’ve slowed down on my consumption (not on purpose), probably because it’s been so hot. But that’s what iced coffee is for :)

Lastly, I will miss Andy Griffith. I think I watched this show almost every day of my childhood. The world is richer for having had him in it.

I almost posted on FB about Andy Griffith the day he died, about how growing up during the summer months when it was too hot to play outside my brother and I would curl up in the living room for hours (with my mom too) watching old reruns of shows form the 50s-70s (and 80s too). Andy being one of them, Gomer Pyle, The Brady Bunch, Lucy and so many more.

You sure know how to find things that make me cry. Waiting on a woman with Andy Griffin – why I have I never seen this before?

Awww, that Brad Paisley and Andy Griffith song – so sweet! You know, my Grandfather looked a lot like Andy Griffith. When he was younger he would get mistaken for him often. Great link to the vinegar uses! I splash some in each load of the dishwasher and it works much better than any rinse-aid could. We have horribly hard water out here…

I know, I love it. Really sweet.

I’ve been reading a few other remedies using vinegar on another site I found. It seems the list of things you can do with it is endless!

Elizabeth, your Sunday morning musings touched my heart in so many treasured spots — iced coffee… The Sound of Music… Andy Griffith… being okay with being alone. (Even though The Man of Few Words is an integral part of my life right now, it ultimately comes down to nurturing myself, which I’m enjoying tremendously now.) I also loved your writing goals. Sooooo excited to see the results of your efforts when you’re ready to unleash it to the world!

P.S. Loved the Brad Paisley video, too — TMOFW is always waitin’ on me. ;)
