A month or so ago I was back home and I spent a little time down at my grandparents’ place riding around with Paw Paw, doing something that was one of my first jobs on the farm — feeding the cows.

When I was little I used to ride around feeding the cows with Paw Paw. I had a little bucket and one particular cow that I would feed one little feed cube at a time. What patience that cow must have had.
Paw Paw was happy to show me his new barns and the contents therein.
We haven’t seen clouds like that in a while.
P.S. – Happy birthday, Paw Paw!

Nice to see some clouds! Yesterday afternoon while driving home from FW I came across a storm—which I swear had tornadic activity. There was a gush of wind and things were swirling—and the car in front of me was not driving fast enough! It moved away as I was driving the other direction but for a few minutes I was a little nervous something was going to drop out of the sky.
I so wish we could have gone down there…. maybe next time.
Awww, what an adorable first picture and GREAT memories. There is something therapeutic about feeding the cows. I miss having them. I love how they adore watermelon rinds, so random, you know?
