Fixing My MOO MiniCards for Allume

About a year ago I ordered some MOO MiniCards. And then I forgot about them. They sat on a shelf for a while and I didn’t go anywhere, but I knew they were available whenever I did end up needing them.

Then I changed my blog name and Twitter handle and the things became practically useless with all the outdated information I had on them. *pout*

I am not one to just throw things away though. (See my spare room which is essentially an episode of Hoarders minus the animal carcasses.) I like to repurpose things whenever I can. I’m like a 20-something, female, Red Green. So after talking through my issues over the phone with Jolene, I got an idea. Printing address labels with my photo, logo, and updated info and sticking them on the back of the cards. That way I could still use the photos of Oklahoma (and a few of my travel shots) on the cards that I hand out at the conference.

There’s no way I’m the first person to think of this, but I thought I’d share a simple little thing that saved me quite a bit of money.

    1. Someone mentioned that they were bad with names, but would recognized people by their Twitter photo and a lightbulb went off 😉 Can’t wait to meet you there!
