Mini-challenge prep is done (I’ll be hosting one starting in Hour 5).

I think all that’s left is for me to turn in and get a decent night of sleep. Good luck to all the participants! I’ll see you tomorrow!

Senior Photos

Seriously, y’all…if you want to make yourself feel old fast, take your baby cousin’s senior photos. I had just finished 3rd grade when she was born. And I can remember entire conversations I had with people during that year of school so it can’t be that long ago, right?

Sigh.

I was honored when Kayla asked if I would take some photos for her. Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, we met at the crack of dawn on a Saturday in October that turned out to be cloudy and made for some very interesting light. Not what I was going for, but we’ll get some sunshine shots when spring rolls around.

I’m dipping my toe in the water with this stuff and (drumroll) am now open to taking senior portraits and family photos. You may contact me at elizabethmichelle@gmail.com if you are interested.

These photos have been ready for a while, but I wasn’t able to connect with Kayla until Thanksgiving and I didn’t want to post them here until she had seen them. So, no need to delay any longer!

{in pictures} It’s the End of the Summer

range round-up

Technically it was the end a few days ago, but I spent the first day of autumn in Virginia and North Carolina for my husband’s grandfather’s wedding. I’ll tell you more about that tomorrow. I’ve let my photos stack up this summer instead of sharing them with you as it all happened, so here I am playing catch up. This is just a sampling, but I think it gives you a nice look at some of the highlights of the past season.
